USE OF FORCE
Our Use of Force policy requires that any use of force that is more than placing handcuffs on a
compliant individual requires officers to complete a Use of Force report. This includes suspects
of crime, as well as those in crisis who may be a danger to themselves or someone else.

alignment with the Department of Justice guidelines.
