External Complaint
In 2025, there were two complaints against police by the public. Both cases were
exonerated following review of body-worn camera footage making police action
lawful and not in violation of departmental policy.
There were four internal reviews with a sustained outcome resulting in disciplinary
action. Disciplinary action can be anything from written reprimand, training,
suspension or dismissal.
Definition of Case Findings
Unfounded: The allegation was demonstrably false or there was no credible evidence
to support the complaint.
Exonerated: The incident occurred but the individual’s actions were lawful and did
not violate written policy
Not Sustained: Investigation failed to disclose sufficient evidence to prove or disprove
an allegation.
Sustained: The allegation is supported by sufficient evidence.
