We are dedicated to keeping our community informed about
crime and other police-related events that occur in the
Boroughs of Doylestown, Chalfont and New Britain.
We also publish current investigations where we need public
assistance to identify an offender or person of interest.
The department’s official website is on CrimeWatch.

New Policy
We no longer post names in the monthly arrest
reports. This decision stems from our awareness of
the significant repercussions that an arrest can
have on an individual’s personal and professional
life, particularly when cases are not fully
adjudicated. We believe that protecting the
identities of those who are merely accused – until
proven guilty – is essential in minimizing
unnecessary stigma and fallout.
We make exception to this rule for any individual
that poses a public safety risk, has an active Arrest
Warrant or for investigative purposes as deemed
appropriate by Command staff.
